    1. Handling Allegations of Employee Misconduct

      Child care providers, regardless of the size of their workforce, should develop standardized procedures for investigating and addressing allegations of employee misconduct. This session will discuss effective policies and procedures for handling allegations of employee misconduct.

      Prospective employee interviews are an important tool which can assist providers in assessing an individual's suitability to work in the child care setting. This session will discuss lawful and unlawful Pre-employment inquiries and techniques for avoiding some common mistakes made by employers during the interview process.
